Neva Pryor is a member of the RRTC Evaluation Team and also serves as the Director of Volunteers and Counseling Services at Northwest Philadelphia Interfaith Hospitality Network (NPIHN)(http://www.philashelter.org/).

Ms. Pryor has over twenty-five years experience with staff training, departmental and organization development in both the non-profit and for-profit business worlds. She incorporates her personal experience with mental illness in her work and trainings. At the age of 50, Ms. Pryor returned to school and received a Masters degree in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Chestnut Hill College. She is currently pursuing her License Professional Counselor (LPC)licensure.

Biographical highlights include:

• Certification as a Trauma Counselor and MRS Investigator;


• License Professional Counselor licensure in progress;


• Has facilitated groups for women utilizing the TREM (Trauma, Recovery, and Empowerment) model ;


• Developed and marketed business plans, as well as assisted welfare mothers in advocating for their rights to obtain and realize self-sufficiency and self-worth;


• Developed professional training manuals and effectively facilitated their use and


• Assisted in writing grants that have resulted in positive changes in the lives of individuals who were seeking to begin a new life.
